Simple home systems designed around the way you and your family actually function

If you have ADHD, getting organized isn't always as simple as buying a few bins or finding the perfect planner.

You may know what needs to be done but have trouble getting started. Things that are put away may disappear from your mind. A system may have too many steps to maintain. Or you may be managing your own belongings while also trying to keep track of everything your family needs.

As a professional organizer serving the Omaha area, I help women with ADHD and families with neurodivergent needs create simple, functional home organizing systems that are easier to use and maintain.

And sometimes, you don't need another system—you need another person there to help you get things done.

You’ll leave with a clear plan for moving forward and confidence in your next steps—whether you choose to implement the recommendations yourself or hire Smart Move Organizing to bring them to life.

ADHD & Neurodivergent Organizing Support in Omaha

Out of sight, out of mind? We can use visible storage, clear containers, labels, open bins, and easy-access locations so important items don’t disappear behind closed doors.

Difficulty getting started? I help identify where to begin, break the project into manageable steps, and work alongside you to keep things moving.

Decision fatigue? Instead of facing hundreds of decisions at once, we’ll work through one category and one decision at a time.

Starting projects but not finishing them? We’ll focus on completing the whole process—not just making piles. That can include preparing donations, dealing with returns, relocating items, and determining clear next steps.

Constantly losing things? We’ll create logical, easy-to-remember homes for keys, bags, paperwork, chargers, shoes, school items, and other everyday essentials.

Piles everywhere? Rather than fighting where things naturally land, we’ll look at why the piles are forming and create an easier system in the right location.

Organizing systems that don’t last? We’ll simplify with fewer categories, fewer steps, practical storage, and systems that don’t require everything to be perfectly maintained.

Forgetting household tasks? We can create visible reminders, action areas, drop zones, and simple routines that make the next step easier to see.

Feeling visually overwhelmed by your home? We’ll reduce excess and create calmer spaces while making sure the things you use regularly are still easy to find and access.

Are you the person who has to remember everything? We’ll create clear systems that partners, children, caregivers, cleaners, grandparents, and other support people can understand and follow too.

Does this sound familiar?

"Review #2 goes right here. Vice paleo bitters before they sold out, single-origin coffee marfa subway dollar toast iceland. Mlkshk,  tousled flannel celiac pork belly roof party. Poke vexillologist vaporware."

"I tripled my sales using your method!"

"To add more reviews, just duplicate this canvas view and swap out the text and photo. Vice paleo bitters before they sold out, single-origin coffee marfa subway tile tilde activated."

"Working with you was a dream. Thank you!!"

There isn't one “right” way to organize a home. A beautiful organizing system isn't helpful if it's too complicated to maintain.  That's why I pay attention to how you naturally use your space. Where do you drop your keys? Where does the mail pile up? What gets forgotten when it's behind a cabinet door? Which tasks continually get started but never completed?

Then we create a simpler solution around what is already happening. That could mean broad categories instead of detailed ones, fewer lids, visual storage, labels, strategically placed drop zones, or moving an item closer to where you actually use it. The goal is to remove steps, not add more.

Organizing Systems the Whole Family Can Follow

For a busy family, organization shouldn't live entirely in one person's head. I can help create household systems that make it easier for everyone to participate—including children, spouses, caregivers, grandparents, cleaners, or other people who support your family. When everyone can easily see where something belongs and understand what to do next, you're not constantly answering:
“Where does this go?”
“Where's my ____?”
“What am I supposed to do with this?”

Simple systems give other people the ability to help.

Sometimes You Need Help Getting the Task Done

ADHD-friendly organizing isn't only about containers and labels.  Sometimes there's a pile of returns that has been sitting by the door for months. A donation pile that keeps moving from room to room. Paperwork you keep meaning to address. A closet you've started organizing three times.
Those unfinished tasks take up physical and mental space.

As your professional organizer, I provide hands-on support to help you work through the decisions, stay focused on the project, determine the next step, and move things toward completion. You don't have to tackle the entire house at once. We start with what would make life easier right now.

Patient, Practical & Judgment-Free Organizing Support

You do not need to clean your house before I arrive. You don't have to apologize for the piles.  And you don't need to have a plan for how we're going to fix everything.

That's what I'm there to help with. My approach is patient, practical, and collaborative. We'll create solutions based on your household, your routines, and what you realistically have the capacity to maintain.
