My Journey to Smart Move Organizing
I started Smart Move Organizing because of my love for organizing, something I’ve enjoyed since I was young. Over the years, I’ve tackled organizing challenges through multiple moves, parenting, and teaching. As a professional home organizer in Omaha, I combine empathy, structure, and experience to help clients reclaim their spaces.
Why Organizing Matters to Me
I am passionate about helping others and I want my clients to have more time for what matters most to them. Also, I am a lifelong learner, which is why I am part of NAPO and IO. I want to know the ins and outs of organizing, best practices, and have support when needed.

From Educator to Professional Home Organizer
I studied Biology at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and earned a Master’s in Teaching, later adding a Master’s in School Counseling. For over a decade, I taught science and worked as a high school counselor, leading groups on organization and planning to help students succeed.
As both an educator and parent, I saw firsthand how clutter can overwhelm and how organization creates focus. Those lessons now guide me as I help clients bring order and calm to their homes.

I am married and have three children. When I’m not busy with my family, I enjoy spending time with friends and family near and far, cheering on the Huskers, running, caring for my plants, and reading and listening to books.
