January is Get Organized & Be Productive (GO) Month and there’s no better time to consult an organizing professional.
Clutter and disorganization can drain your energy and contribute to unwarranted stress, frustration, and anxiety. Are you ready to start the new year off right by getting organized and increasing productivity?
As a member of the National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals (NAPO), I work to improve my clients’ lives by helping them create environments that support productivity, general health, and well-being. Working with a professional organizer is no different than choosing an accountant, personal trainer, doctor, or other service provider!

I’m Kelsey Nodgaard, the founder and owner of Smart Move Organizing. I started Smart Move Organizing because of my passion for organizing. It’s something I’ve loved doing since I was young. Over the years, I’ve had to stay organized through multiple moves, as a parent, and in my 12 years working in education as both a teacher and a school counselor in Colorado, California and now Nebraska.
I am passionate about helping others and I want my clients to have more time for what matters most to them. Also, I am a lifelong learner, which is why I am part of NAPO. I want to know the ins and outs of organizing, best practices, and have support when needed.
You have many options when it comes to getting organized, but know that I am patient, understanding, and non-judgmental. Working closely with clients to transform desired and chaotic areas into functional, peaceful spaces brings me joy. I see potential in both people and their environments, and I’m trusted to help bring that vision to life.
I am married and have three children. When I am not busy with my family, I enjoy spending time with friends and family near and far. I cheer on the Huskers, run, care for my plants, and read and listen to books.
The National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals (NAPO) was founded in 1985 as a nonprofit professional educational association for professional organizers.
